At first, Ms. Thuy’s shop only sold flipped duck eggs. In one attempt to buy chicken for her family, she was praised by the whole family.

“I do not learn this from anyone, so I just do it my own way and ask the client for advice. Gradually, I will learn by myself to have my own recipe”, she shared.
To get a delicious chicken drumstick dish must go through many stages. Chicken thighs must be firm, not too young or too old, washed, avoiding odors and simmered. The traditional herbal medicine recipe is considered by Ms. Thuy as “heirloom” because it is the soul that makes the dish. Her wormwood vegetables are self-grown, enough to be sold all year round.
“From 6am – when I opened the door, there were customers already. The most crowded guests were from 11 noon to 13pm, and from 17:00 to 19 pm. Weekends were more crowded,” Ms. Thuy shared.
It is a rather fussy dish, takes time, but the price of chicken at Ms. Thuy’s restaurant is very affordable.
A can of chicken frequency costs 20,000 VND. Guests can order an extra package of noodles for 5000 VND or a mugwort flipped duck egg for only 5000 VND. Particularly, the dish of fried wormwood eggs is priced at 12,000 VND. This price is suitable for many diners from students, students, workers …
