From Fansipan top 1 to Ngu Chi Son top 15, respectively, My Chau conquered in 2 years.

Truong My Chau, born in 1990, from Gia Lai, is currently an agricultural engineer working in Binh Thuan. 4 years ago, she discovered she had a passion for trekking when making a trip to Mui Doi, Khanh Hoa. When she returned home, she began to learn and explore the high mountains in the South, gradually moving to the North, Ky Quan San (3,046 m) was the first high mountain she conquered.

Every time he goes to the North, Chau usually spends 3 to 5 days climbing the mountain, depending on his strength and difficulty of how many peaks he will climb. From 2019 to 2020, Chau in turn conquered 15 highest peaks in Vietnam: Fansipan (3,143 m), Pusilung (3,083 m), Putaleng (3,049 m), Ky Quan San (3,046 m), Khang Su Van (3,012 m). m), Ta Lien Son (2,996 m), Ta Chi Nhu (2,979 m), Po Ma Lung (2,967 m), Nhiu Co San (2,965 m), Chung Nhia Vu (2,918 m), Lung Cung (2,913 m), Nam Cang Ho Tao (2,881 m), Ta Xua (2,865 m), Lao Than (2,860 m), Ngu Chi Son (2,858 m).

Among the mountain peaks, Chau rated Pusilung and Nam Cang Ho Tao among the most difficult to climb because of the rugged, steep and long distance, while Fansipan is the highest but easier to climb. “People often go to the high peaks for 3 days and 2 nights or 2 days and 1 night, but I’m always ‘dead’ during the day, rest at night and then climb the next day again,” Chau said he had climbed 5 peaks mountains in the same trip.

Compared to the mountains in the Central Highlands, she finds the northern mountains majestic, dangerous, rich in vegetation, and on the way, it is easy to see the clouds flying like “paradise”, the four-leaf flower forests. season, in which, there are pink rhododendrons, red maple leaves in the middle of the mountains. It’s very often raining, dense fog, difficult road, but for her, that adds drama to the trip.

When Chau posted a photo of standing check-in with 15 peaks of the mountains on social networks, many people were surprised because the petite girl weighing 39 kg could climb the whole mountain. Chau said she herself does not practice sports much, due to her daily work, she has to travel, operate, check the garden in the sun and wind, so she gets used to it.

“Whenever I like climbing, I just go, even if I run a marathon, I’m always in a state of readiness, having a good job arrangement, feeling relaxed is setting a porter schedule, preparing to go hiking and “, Chau said, and at the same time admitted that she was not familiar at first, did not know how to regulate her breath, so even climbing a simple mountain she felt tired, not to mention high mountains are not easy, they often start with a long slope, funny called the “give up” slope. However, she never thought of giving up, but encouraged herself, if you are tired, take a break, rest and then go on, go and come.

Traveling a lot, happy and sad memories also multiply and for her everything is memorable, sometimes having an accident when climbing Fansipan, having to go down the mountain in the cold night; when climbing Po Ma Lung, he met a poisonous snake; going from Y Ty to Sa Pa, the car broke down, had to walk in the middle of the pass in the thick fog and pouring rain… “At those times, I craved all kinds of food, thinking about the scene when I reached the restaurant full of food, I forgot. everything,” she said with a smile, never regretting her decisions.

Chau said it would be fun to climb the mountain with friends, but it took a long time to get everyone to go together, so she chose to go alone: ”Going with a porter may not be as fun as going With many people, but I will go faster. If I wait for everyone, maybe in 5 years, I will not go to all these 15 peaks.”

This year, Chau had time to trek Chu B’Luk volcano – the largest volcanic cave in Southeast Asia in Dak Nong province before the Covid-19 epidemic broke out again in many provinces across the country. It is expected that when everything is stable, she will continue to conquer the top of Chu Va (Lai Chau) and go hiking with friends more.

Thinking about the past journey, Chau feels satisfied and more motivated: “In return for the arduous days, carrying a backpack and walking until tired feet on the zigzag roads to see firsthand the beautiful people. The beautiful scenery of the natural mountains and forests. More importantly, that process allows me to discover my emotions, abilities and limitations.” Follow vnexpress
