Ham Ninh Crab
Nature favors Ham Ninh sea with a mild and cool climate all year round, so the seafood here is diverse and fresh, especially crabs. The crab here has firm, aromatic meat, so it can be processed into many delicious dishes such as roasted tamarind, crab rice, spicy and sour crab soup, roasted with salt and pepper… the best is still steamed because it keeps its fresh taste.
Phu Quoc people share, if you choose steamed crab, you will have about 5-6 fish per kilogram. If you like to eat soft meat but have a lot of bricks, you should choose female crabs, and male crabs for firm and fragrant meat. Fish cake soup
Banh Canh is one of the familiar dishes in Phu Quoc because of the fragrant taste of fish and the distinctive aroma of the broth. And it would be remiss if you come to Ngoc island without ever enjoying mackerel cake soup.
When putting out the bowl, the vermicelli is put in first, then add a few pieces of fried and steamed mackerel, blood, a little fried garlic, onions – thorn mounds… then pour the broth. This famous specialty includes squid, shrimp paste and fish cake… with a clear broth and a homemade dipping sauce consisting of salt, monosodium glutamate (main noodle), sugar, kumquat (kumquat), ground chili.
