Mui Ke Ga is a small island located 500m from the mainland and 20km from Phan Thiet city center. The lighthouse on the island is the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam, built in 1900 by the French and all construction materials were transferred from France.
Ke Ga Lighthouse has been confirmed by the Vietnam Record Book Center as the highest lighthouse in the country (65m) with 184 spiral stairs and a light range of 22 nautical miles. At this height, from far away, passing ships could see the signal emanating from the top of the lighthouse.

“I feel that Ke Ga Cape is very safe, with majestic sea views and cliffs, and the light keepers are always happy and enthusiastic to support visitors,” Mr. Tuan shared.
“Moving to the lighthouse is very easy. It takes about 10 minutes for visitors to get there by canoe. When the tide recedes, you can walk on the natural path under the sea,” Mr. Tuan added.
Compared to other lighthouses, Ke Ga lighthouse has a typical European architecture, classic style and colors in harmony with the surrounding landscape, similar to the color of the giant rocks located on the island. Lighthouse made of marble.
