In the early 1960s, the Lo river dike broke, flooded continuously, eroded the base of the tower, so the tilted Binh Son tower was at risk of collapse. When the top of the tower fell, some broken roofs, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phu province and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to restore.

Currently, many places on the tower have been misty, wind has eroded over time, but the tower still retains its inherent healthy shape.
