This festival was held to commemorate the merits of the leader Hoang Cong Chat who fought hard in the war with the Phep enemy when they occupied Muong Then – Dien Bien. At the same time, it is also a tribute to other generals such as Khanh, General Ngai and the entire insurgent army.
Beginning of the Festival of the Citadel, the festival will be opened with powerful and majestic drumming.
