CAN THO – Group of guests staying in a 5-star resort in Con Au, watching the sunset on the river, visiting gardens, Cai Rang floating market… at a cost of 30 million per person.

Tran Hieu, 34 years old, from Phu Quoc, has just had a trip to Can Tho with 8 friends. Like previous luxury experiences, the group chose to stay in a 5-star resort at Con Au, a floating dune on the Hau River in Hung Phu Ward, Cai Rang District.

The cost for the trip of the whole group is 255 million VND, including 120 million VND for 2 nights. Tours are priced for 2 people such as the garden tour costing 7.8 million VND, the sunset tour 3.3 million VND and floating market tour 3 million VND. In addition, 4 meals in the restaurant, spa expenses…

Impressions at the resort

Hieu shared his first impression, right before arriving at the resort was a private car pick-up. This place is rated as the best in the luxury resorts he has ever experienced. It takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the marina in the city center. Because the resort is located on the dunes, you have to travel by wooden boat or canoe, which is quite interesting.

Con Au is considered the green lung of the city, still keeping the hundreds of years old myrtle trees. Therefore, the resort is built in a simple style, in harmony with the natural beauty of the dunes. The group villa has 4 bedrooms, about 630 square meters, with a view of the Hau River and green grass. There is also a private swimming pool, a fully equipped kitchen, and 24/7 housekeeping, several times a day if needed.

Coming to the river for the first time and staying on the dunes, Hieu found it strange to the animals and plants here. He shared a happy memory while cycling in the resort when he met an animal that was half a mouse, half a squirrel but without a tail. “I wonder why in the middle of a 5-star resort, there are mice running freely like that, only to find out that this is a chevron. About the nature here, I rate 10/10”.

He also commented that the food here was delicious and varied from local to European, so in addition to the included breakfast, the group enjoyed 4 more lunches and dinners in the resort. Dinner is at a private, romantic table right under the ancient tree in the light and flickering candles.

Western-style experience

During the 3-day and 2-night stay, the group experienced the tours provided by the resort, including sailing to watch the sunset on Hau River, visiting Ninh Kieu wharf and stopping at Can Tho bridge. On the boat, there are cocktails, and snacks such as spring rolls, Banh Khot…

The group also took a boat trip, combined with walking to visit the garden in Vinh Long in half a day. The wooden boats weave visitors through the tree-lined canals, to the fruitful gardens. Because June is right in the season of ripe fruit, it is colorful everywhere.

The group then entered the old blue house of Mr. and Mrs. Eight. Here they are invited to eat continuously, every 30 minutes will bring out a local dish and the delicious taste is hard to stop. “I like this tour not only because I can see the fruit, but also because the people here are cute and enthusiastic, wherever they go they will greet and invite you to eat for free”, Hieu said with a smile and said that Mr. Tam was determined. take the motorbike to take them out to 3 laps.

The last tour the group experienced was to visit Cai Rang floating market, which is the largest and busiest compared to other floating markets in the region. Moving from 7 am, the wooden boat took them along the Hau River, passing through Ninh Kieu wharf and fishing villages for about 45 minutes before arriving at the floating market. Weaving through busy trading boats, they buy fruits, and local delicacies and especially receive the bright smiles of local people.
