Before the trip, Hoang Anh did not know anything about Quang Tri, when she arrived she was surprised “didn’t think it so beautiful”.

Nguyen Khanh Hoang Anh, 25 years old, a travel blogger with the name Mavis Vi Vu Ky, known for solo trips . At the end of June, the young girl chose Quang Tri as the 55th destination in her fortune moving around Vietnam. Initially, Hoang Anh only planned to visit popular spots in the east such as Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Hien Luong Bridge, and La Vang Holy Land and did not know anything about the west.

“Thanks to the fate of meeting a local friend, I came to know the western region of Quang Tri. This person told me to go this route because it is very beautiful. There is also very little information on the internet about this palace”, Hoang Anh said. .

Hoang Anh has 3 days to explore Quang Tri, of which 2 days are devoted to the western route. According to her, this land is like a hidden gem that few tourists know with green forests, cool waterfalls and friendly people.

“Even a person who has traveled to many lands like me is quite surprised why there is such a beautiful land in Quang Tri,” Hoang Anh said.

To come here, on the first day , she drove along the Ho Chi Minh road from Dong Ha city. The first destination is Homi cafe, which has a view of the mountains. After that, Hoang Anh went to Ta Con airport, wind power field, lonely tree. Pictured is Homi cafe, which has a beautiful view of the mountains and river.

After that, Hoang Anh went to the top of Cu Vo to watch the sunset and ran straight to the Five Seasons Bungalows. A note that Hoang Anh wants to remind visitors planning to explore this road is that the number of rooms and accommodation is small, you should book a week before the trip.

A memorable memory of Hoang Anh’s trip was being invited to have a family dinner by local friends at the homestay. This makes the girl very happy to have more interesting friends.

On the second day, Hoang Anh got up early to welcome the morning in Huong Phung, Huong Hoa, then rode a motorbike to explore waterfalls, Chenh Venh village and Sa Mu pass. Pictured is a waterfall near Chenh Venh village.

According to Hoang Anh, the road west of Quang Tri is safe to go alone. The people Hoang Anh met on the way were cute and friendly. She enjoyed meeting and interacting with the Van Kieu people.

However, the tourist attractions here are still quite wild and many sections do not have street lights, so it is necessary to limit travel after 5pm. There are quite a lot of mountain passes, you should take a car if you choose a means of transport that is a motorbike.

After discovering the above points, Hoang Anh returned to the homestay to feel the peace of nature and packed things back to Dong Ha. On the way back, she stopped by Dak Rong II hydroelectric power station to admire the scenery. Among the destinations visited, Hoang Anh was most impressed with the wind power field next to the hydroelectric lake. To get here, visitors need to go through a stretch of trail.

“I was really surprised when I saw the beautiful scenery appearing. Dozens of wind wings rotate in the wind, below is the blue lake surface in the afternoon sun, calm, peaceful and surprisingly beautiful”, Hoang said. He recalls.

The west of Quang Tri is covered with a cool green color. “Two days is quite good to explore the basic points on the western route of Quang Tri. However, there are many spots that I have not discovered yet, especially the Vietnam-Laos border area and many beautiful waterfalls,” Hoang Anh said. identify. Regarding the climate, she assessed it as “hot as a pan of fire” in the eastern region, then when it came to the west, it was cool, and the evening was even cold and pleasant.

“The tourist attractions in western Quang Tri are mostly empty and the accommodation service points are quite few. Partly because Quang Tri is still not too famous for ecotourism, and there is not much information about the land. This is the west but in my opinion this is a very potential land, quite easy to move and very beautiful.I hope that the west of Quang Tri will soon be known by more people on the tourist map of Vietnam in the future. “, Hoang Anh commented.
