The festival of orange and agricultural products in Ha Tinh in 2020 will take place from December 18-20, at the commercial center located on Ha Huy Tap street, Ha Tinh city. In the 4th time held, the organizers expect this to be an opportunity to promote, connect agricultural consumption, and stimulate tourism.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, from Vu Quang district, brought oranges certified Ocop to sell at the festival. Ms. Tam said that oranges planted for 4 years will give harvest, 1 ha for about 6 tons of oranges, the price is 40,000 VND per kg.

Huong Son district brings honey products festival introduction.

In addition to honey, wine-soaked deer velvet is also a specialty of Huong Son mountainous district. Deer velvet wine is made from the horns of the deer, people can buy and drink and massage to enhance their health.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Thanh, 33 years old, owner of an agarwood factory in Phuc Trach commune, Huong Khe district, introduced the store’s products to visitors.

Mr. Thanh has worked as an agarwood maker since 2016, in addition to large agarwood trees shaped for sale, Mr. Thanh takes advantage of small pieces of wood to make incense, giving a decent income.

To create the attraction for their booth, many people used watermelon, pineapple tree, flowers … to create a dragon for display.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, from Thuong Loc commune, Can Loc district, said it took about a day to form a dragon with a pineapple tree, 80 cm high and 60 cm wide. “The dragon base is made from dozens of crunchy oranges, gaining 4 stars of Ocop. I want the dragon to create a highlight, bring a unique characteristic to the agricultural products produced by the cooperative,” Hoa said. .

A new feature at this festival is the appearance of the display of agricultural and handicraft products from Ha Giang province. Display space is specially designed with a limestone-shaped gate, inside is Lung Cu flagpole.

Lung Cu flagpole, located in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, is simulated at the festival with a triangular flower base.

Ms. Trieu Mui Coi, 31 years old, living in Hoang Su Phi district, holding a box of Shan Tuyet tea – a famous specialty of Ha Giang province, introduced to other tourists to visit her local stall.

“We have traveled more than 600 km to Ha Tinh to attend the festival, with the hope of introducing specialties such as tangerine orange, Shan Tuyet tea, mint honey … to the central people in general and the country in particular” , said Mui Coi.

In addition to agricultural products, visitors can also visit a booth displaying pictures and photos with themes about people, landscapes, traditional crafts, special festivals of Ha Giang province.

From 2019 up to now, Ha Giang and Ha Tinh provinces have many cooperation and exchange programs in many fields.
