QUANG NAM – Thousands of people and tourists flock to Hoai riverside pedestrian street to enjoy art and sightseeing.
On the afternoon of March 24, at the An Hoi roundabout area, Quang Nam province organized the Hoi An ancient art program, attracting about 500 people and visitors. The cast then paraded the old signs to display in Hoai River Square Park. This is a program in a series of activities to open the National Tourism Year – Quang Nam 2022.
Many tourists ask to go with the group to record beautiful moments.
Many foreigners living in Vietnam also come to the old quarter to roam around and take souvenir photos when tourism opens.
Tourist service on the Hoai River is bustling again. Recently, the city government asked the boats not to decorate with colorful lights and propellers, only two traditional lanterns.

The areas selling souvenirs and snacks in the old town are bustling again.
Lantern decoration on the sidewalk of Hoai River Square Park is one of the places where visitors enjoy checking in. Hoi An also retains many decorative points for the Lunar New Year to serve residents and visitors.

Baby Bao Nhung, a 4th grader at Phu Dong Primary School (Minh An Ward, Hoi An), and her mother brought lanterns to An Hoi Bridge to sell to tourists, priced at 5,000 VND/piece.
“My family has been unemployed for more than two years now because tourism is closed,” Nhung said. She said this lantern was made by her family, in about an hour she sold 60,000 VND.
The areas selling food and drinks by the Hoai River were crowded with customers after a long time of closure because of the epidemic.
Also on the evening of March 24, leaders of Quang Nam province attended a rehearsal of the opening program of the National Tourism Year – Quang Nam 2022, at Hoi An Memories Island. The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of March 26, with the participation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
