BINH PHUOC – Buddhist Temple Quoc Van Thanh has inaugurated the 73 m high Buddha statue of Thich Ca Mau Ni in Xa Cam 1 Quarter, Hung Chien Ward, Binh Long Town.

On January 20, the 73-meter-high statue of Duc Thich Ca Mau Ni was inaugurated in the presence of the Identification Committee, the Board of Governors of the Binh Phuoc Buddhist Church, Ho Chi Minh City; representatives of provincial leaders, departments, branches and former leaders of the province; Binh Long town leaders together with a large number of monks, lay people, and Buddhists.

Starting construction on January 5, 2017 (December 8, 2016 lunar calendar), Phat Quoc Van Thanh pagoda is a complex of 117,726 m2. The complex consists of 24 large items with an area of ​​more than 3,000 m2 per area. Particularly, the statue of Duc Thich Ca Mau Ni was built on an area of ​​8,100 m2.

After 4 years of construction, up to now, the main hall and Buddha statue of Quoc Van Thanh Pagoda have been completed. The highlight of the work is a 73 m high sitting Buddha statue designed on the roof of the temple’s main hall.

Contributing to the completion of the project with the family of Buddhist Minh Duc, Dieu Phuoc happily offered his heart to offer the pure talent of building the entire Buddhist monk Thich Ca Mau Ni.
