QUANG NAM – In the summer, people grow lotuses along the Dam River in full bloom on the water, attracting many people to visit and take pictures.
Dam River, with a water surface area of nearly 200 hectares, an average water depth of 1.6 meters and 300 hectares along the banks, stretches to Tam Thang, Tam Phu, and An Phu wards, about 4 km from the center of Tam Ky city. . It has diverse flora and fauna, fish and shrimp, reeds, sedges, lotuses, and water lilies, creating a pristine beauty.
In recent years, local people have planted lotus along the banks for seeds with an area of about 5 hectares, in many places, creating more landscapes for Dam River.
To serve tourists, Mr. Chau Van Cu, Tam Thang commune – the owner of the lotus lagoon, made bamboo bridges in the middle of the lagoon to welcome guests to check-in and the thatched roof house as a stopover.
