On the world’s leading online booking application Agoda, the room is described as measuring 25 square meters, with a large mattress and a private bathroom. The room is located on the cliff, with decorative lights. The bathroom and toilet area are solidly processed, with a vent door that is a natural stone slot.
What surprised many people was that one night here was listed at 97 million VND, after being reduced to 64 million VND, equivalent to the price of the Presidential room in the most luxurious resorts in Vietnam. The booking process takes place normally, after adding taxes and fees, guests will have to pay 74 million VND. Bookers receive a confirmation email like any other accommodation.
After receiving the information, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism coordinated with an interdisciplinary inspection team to inspect this facility this morning, July 21. Accordingly, the room is located in Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. However, at the inspection, the legal representative of the establishment was absent, and the security guard said that the resort is currently inactive and does not accept guests.
According to a representative of the Department of Tourism, the provincial authorities will continue to check, verify and clarify this “mysterious” hotel.
