Hon Tranh is a small island about 15 minutes by motorboat from Phu Quy port. Hon Tranh emerged in the middle of the immense ocean, surrounded by four ocean waves. The reason is called Hon Tranh because in the past there was a lot of thatched grass. People from Phu Quy came to Tranh Islet to work on the fields, cut the thatched grass and roofed.
