In the photo is a couple walking on a bare hill, also known as the “bride” hill. This hill is located at the border between Da Lat city and Lac Duong district, with an area of about 30 m2 located in the Golden valley area but always bustling with couples coming here to take photos during the wedding season.
Tourists, photographers and “lovely couples” came to take pictures at the pink grass hill in the Golden Valley on the morning of November 6. This valley is a famous tourist destination, about 15 km from the center of Da Lat city.
“Da Lat entering the cold season is an ideal condition for photographing dew, clouds, wild sunflowers, or pink grass. I usually spend the whole week going on a photo shoot in the early morning or late afternoon to get the best moments,” said Ga.
After the rainy season, young leaves of pink-purple grass sprout up, not higher than the ankles of people, and bloom with tiny pink flowers that attract tourists. The morning dew is thick on the shimmering grass, so visitors also call it snow grass.

However, Ga finds that the pink grass season in this area is not as beautiful as it was a few years ago. “Many people do not consciously step on the bushes when taking pictures. Unlike other grasses, pink grass takes a long time to recover,” he said.
The pink grass on the banks of Lake Dankia with the highlight of a lonely pine tree in the distance is a favorite photo address of young people as well as photographers.
Golden sunshine like pouring honey on a new day, sparkling on the grass at La An hill, near Cu Lan village, 9 km from the center of Da Lat city.
The sharing station to take the best photos of pink grass has to go further, such as to Masara cultural village, Ta Nang commune, Duc Trong, 80 km from the mountain town. This area is the contiguous place of Lam Dong – Binh Thuan, also where the Lam Dong plateau begins to gradually decrease in altitude.
