What season is beautiful in Quan Lan?

Similar to Co To , Quan Lan is most beautiful in the summer, especially from April to the end of June when it is not too hot and there are no storms. Autumn in Quan Lan is beautiful but the air is colder, it rains a lot. If you go from July to September, pay attention to the weather forecast to avoid rainstorms and tropical depressions.

Move

To get to Quan Lan island, visitors will have to go in 2 stages:

Stage 1: Go to Quang Ninh

Visitors from the South or Central will take a flight to Hanoi or Hai Phong, Quang Ninh and then go by road to Hon Gai pier, Ha Long city or Cai Rong port, Van Don district.

If you do not drive a car or motorbike by yourself from Hanoi, you can take a limousine or bus to Ha Long or Cua Ong, Cam Pha at My Dinh and Giap Bat bus stations. The price is about 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND a turn. Travel time is almost 4 hours.

Departing from Hai Phong, travel time is about 1 hour 30 minutes. Limousine price is about 150,000 VND one way, passenger car is about 120,000 VND one way.

Stage 2: From the port to the island by ship

The speedboat ride takes about 45 minutes. Often tourists choose to depart from Cai Rong port to shorten travel time at sea. Note, when booking you can ask the hotel to assist in booking speedboat tickets and shuttle bus from the port for convenience.

Traveling on the island

The average price of motorbike rental on the island is 150,000 VND per day (without petrol), 200,000 VND if there is gasoline. You need to ask clearly to avoid frustration and misunderstanding because many guests have encountered this controversy.

Renting a tuk tuk is about 700,000 VND a day, a tram is about 1,200,000 VND a day. This vehicle is suitable for large groups of people and families.

Where to play?

Beach

Quan Lan Island is narrow in width, not large, but quite long, so it has many beautiful beaches.

Quan Lan beach is the closest beach to the port and the market. Quan Lan beach is more deserted than Minh Chau beach, white sand but not as white as other beaches, clear blue sea, moderate waves.

Minh Chau beach has the smoothest white sand, so it is always crowded. To take a good photo on an empty beach, you just need to take the trouble to go about 1 km further towards Trui Minh Chau wharf. There is a pristine beach here, almost very few people bathe.

The beach is very gentle, the background is hard, the bluest of the beaches here. However, due to its location in the direction of the wind, Minh Chau sometimes becomes a “reluctant dump” for wastes from the sea.

Viet My Beach is near the wharf, which is an abandoned project, so people rent it seasonally for business, the only place where the food area is facing the sea, beautiful view, affordable price, many shops have karaoke. The coastline is long, the sand is not as smooth as in Minh Chau, but the beach is gentle.

Son Hao beach is between Quan Lan beach and Minh Chau beach. The most impressive feature of Son Hao beach is that when the water level is at its greatest, the beach area will be smaller.

Robinson beach is located between Son Hao and Minh Chau beaches but closer to Minh Chau. This beach has only one beachfront motel, no other services, just like a desert island. The entrance is small, bumpy, and there is no signpost, so I searched forever to find it. But this beach is the most beautiful, a lovely guesthouse in the middle of a pine forest.

Temple

Quan Lan communal house was built in the post-Le period (about the 17th century) and was repaired many times in the Nguyen Dynasty to worship the village lords who were the Tien Cong who founded Quan Lan commune and worshiped Tran Khanh Du.

Next to Quan Lan communal house is Quan Lan pagoda and Nghe Quan Lan temple to worship Mr. Pham Cong Chinh – a local man who died in the historic Van Don battle. Quan Lan communal house festival takes place from 10 to 20 of the 6th lunar month. congress on June 18).

Waist Wind

A rather difficult place to go in Quan Lan is Eo Gio, located near Cau Temple, Cua Dong, the end of the island, about 6 km from Quan Lan pier. You can travel by motorbike or rent a tuk tuk. The road is quite dusty because many trucks pass. From the top of the mountain, you can observe the island from above, or look out at the blue sea, with white foam waves. Note that the way up is quite dangerous, you need to be careful and avoid letting small children follow.

River with white sand banks

This river is located right on the main road on the island, about 100 meters from the road turning to Son Hao pier, on both sides of white sand stretches, underneath the river will sparkle when the sun is shining. But if you look closely, you will realize that this is the sewage stream of a nearby factory, but the photo is still shimmering. You should shoot in the afternoon near sunset to get the best photos.

European lawn

Lying next to the river is a grassy field that takes visitors to a certain European land. You can pose freely, and shooting from above will help to have more impressive photos.

The main road on the island

The main road on the island is straight, on both sides are pine trees. Just stand in the middle of the road and pose in the most natural way, and you’ll have a photo like a European sky. The island is not crowded, so the main road is quite deserted. However, you still have to pay attention to the tuk tuks that often run at high speeds.

Eat what

Sa worm, eggplant, and exotic seafood dishes have different names, making many visitors to Quan Lan curious and want to enjoy.

You can eat right at the hotel, the beach, but ask carefully for the price so as not to be “hacked”. In addition, you can also eat at a residential area in Quan Lan beach. The biggest and most beautiful restaurant is at the intersection of 3. The shop serves by the rate, for example, 1,000,000 VND for 4 people. If you want to eat cheaper food, you can get up early to go to the market to buy, or buy from food shops opposite Quan Lan communal house, buy by kg.
