If you want to hide near Hanoi, the Phu Tho – Hoa Binh road is just right for two weekends. On the first day, you can visit Long Coc tea hill , Phu Tho about 125 km from Hanoi, with the “tea oasis” which is likened to “Ha Long Bay in the midland”. Next is Xuan Son National Park, where there are forests, caves, rivers and streams… for you to trek. Around the national park and tea hill, there are many homestays, you can order people to cook rustic dishes such as coriander salad, grilled banana flower duck with the bamboo tube, fried bamboo shoots, house chicken…

Overnight in the national park, the next morning you depart for Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant . Visit the hydroelectric dam for about an hour, the journey continues to Muong Cultural Museum on the way to Thung Nai . The museum is located in a small limestone valley of about 5 hectares, with bamboo forest, stilt houses and exhibitions on the culture of the Muong ethnic group. Finally, you stop at Thung Nai, an eco-tourism area with enough activities for boating, fishing in the Da River… Specialties not to be missed are grilled fish, pickled bamboo shoots with chili…

Ocsen Beach Bar & Club is a beach bar near the center of Duong Dong ward. Visitors here can watch the whole moment of the sunset – the “specialty” of pearl island. The attraction of the restaurant is the cushion sitting on the sand, photogenic orange color, suitable for sunset tones.

The shop is quite crowded, especially on weekends, but the advantage is that it is spacious, so you can sit anywhere and watch the sunset. If you want to sit close to the sea so you don’t get in the way, you should book in advance.

The minus point of the restaurant is that the waiting time for drinks is quite long. Drinks cost from 80,000 to 200,000 VND. Visitors should come around 17:30 – 19:00 to watch the full moment of the sunset or stay later to experience the campfire.
