The Vuong family residence is also known as the Meo King Palace . This work was built by “King Meo” Vuong Chinh Duc in the early 20th century. It took 8 years for the H’mong people of Vietnam and Yunnan – China to complete this massive and superficial project. .

The area of this ancient mansion is up to 1,200m2, bearing bold indigenous architectural imprints. The entire mansion is built with wood, earth, and stone materials with traditional floral and literary motifs such as cherry blossoms and poppies. In general, the mansion has 2 floors with full functions of living, working and at the same time a very solid defensive military fortress.

This structure is built with a multi-layer structure of houses and courtyards, similar to the style of the Qing Dynasty (China). 2. Palace Hoang A Tuong
One of the famous mansions in the Northwest region of our country is the Hoang A Tuong mansion, located at 257 Ngoc Uyen, Bac Ha town, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province. This is the most luxurious mansion at one time in Bac Ha, with an age of up to 100 years. Today, this project is a favorite destination for tourists when traveling to Lao Cai.

Hoang A Tuong mansion was built by his biological father, Hoang Yen Chao, in 1914 and took 7 years to complete. Later, the mansion was left to Hoang A Tuong, so people called it Hoang A Tuong’s mansion to this day. The project bears the impression of architectural interference between East and West cultures, located on a large hill in the center of Bac Ha town. It is known that Phu Hai Governor’s house is a monumental work for Ms. Tran Thi Sanh – second wife of Binh Tay Dai Nguyen Soai Truong Dinh built in the 1890s. This house was built in the form of the word Dinh, a harmonious combination. between East and West cultures. Experiencing many times of restoration, the house consists of 3 main items: the main house, two square houses and the rice barn.

Although the governor of Phu Hai does not have the function of a defensive fortress like the royal palace or the palace of Hoang A Tuong, it is still a superficial construction on the western land.
