This frescoed alley is a work done by the Women’s Union of Vung Tau City to celebrate the 30-year establishment of Vung Tau City (1991 – 2021) and the 2021 term of Vung Tau Women’s Deputies’ Congress. – 2026.

This work was painted by the artists from the end of January 2021 to September 9, then completed.

Every day, this frescoed alley attracts many locals and tourists to visit. Ms. Trinh Thi Kim Thuan (living in Vung Tau City) and her husband came to this mural alley to visit, take pictures and share: “I heard from my friends and introduced this road with many beautiful paintings. 

I was free today, thanks to my husband to come here to visit, check-in, take pictures. We also hope that Vung Tau in particular and other localities of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province will have more beautiful buildings for tourists to visit and entertain at the weekend “.

According to Ms. Vu Phuong Hao, Chairman of Vung Tau City Women’s Union, from the desire to create beautiful check-in spots to meet the trend of photography and interaction on social networks of tourists and residents, 3 months ago, Vung Tau City Women’s Union surveyed and searched for locations to design a frescoed street and selected alley 6 Tran Phu.

This is a wide alley, sloping, overlooking the sea and opposite the Cable Car tourist area , usually crowded with tourists every day.

Vung Tau City Women’s Union mobilizes people living on the alley to lend the wall and consult with leaders of the City Party Committee and City People’s Committee, when approved, hire artists to paint. Funding for the project implementation is more than 100 million VND, from the budget of the Association and mobilizing the people to contribute. Women’s Union of Quarter 1 is in charge of environmental sanitation, preservation and maintenance of thatched streets.

In March 2021, Vung Tau City Women’s Union continued to work on the second frescoed road on Nguyen Thai Hoc street, the section from Le Hong Phong street to Pasteur street.
