Hung Thien Pagoda is located in the surrounding area which is a vast field of fields. This place has the statue of Quan Am Buddha, considered the highest in the West, to go more than 50 steps to reach the foot of the statue.

Hung Thien Pagoda in Hung Hoi commune, Vinh Loi district (Bac Lieu province), about 10km from the center of Bac Lieu city, where the statue of Quan Am Buddha (also known as Mother Dong Hai) is considered the highest in the West.
The statue is about 43m high, with Guan Yin Buddha standing on a “giant” lotus with dozens of wings. The front face turns towards the river bank, the back of the statue turns towards the vast fields.

Each side has 2 step paths, and in the middle is a very impressive embossed dragon.
Looking down from above in front of the temple courtyard, there are two rows of Quan Am Buddha statues (much smaller than the main statue) with different standing and sitting positions.
In the campus of Hung Thien pagoda, there is also a yellow Buddha statue about 10m high with a work being completed gradually. Since then, this place is both a place for people to show their beliefs and a prominent spiritual tourist spot in Bac Lieu province today.
