Thong Nhat Park is known as the “green lung” of Hanoi because of its large area and the number of green trees. This place is also considered an ancient and long-standing park in the capital when it was established in 1958. Located in Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi, Thong Nhat park covers the spacious Bay Mau lake and is adjacent to with all 4 major streets: Tran Nhan Tong, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Le Duan and Dai Co Viet. Although it is not as new or modern as new parks, but for Ha Thanh people, this is a familiar place to go for a walk and relax.
Currently, Thong Nhat Park has been moved from “closed” to “open” park when the fences surrounding the park have all been removed. Besides, the park is no longer charged as before, so this place has become one of the free virtual coordinates that are still as beautiful and poetic as other places.
The park is very large so a lot of corners are forgotten. Most people often just come for a walk and exercise, but few know that this old park possesses such beautiful virtual living corners. Even the most loyal fan of the park may not know every corner. Come here often, sometimes you will find a few corners of green trees to catch the bright sunshine beside the romantic railway tracks, and also a row of beautiful and dreamy flowers.
Coming to the park at this time, surely many of you will be overwhelmed with the brilliant scenery that this place brings. The flower petals flutter in the wind, from butterfly flowers to purple hues of violets or countless shades of crimson pink.

All the paths in the park are paved and covered with green vegetation, dotted with colorful flowers. Interspersed between the green spaces is a lakeside promenade, a few small bridges that help connect the areas together, and these are also outstanding photo spots if you want to take pictures of all styles. As you like.
Because it is located right in the center of Hanoi, moving to the park is quite easy. Most of the routes are major roads, so you can refer to google maps for directions if you are traveling by motorbike or car. The ticket price for motorbike parking is 5,000 VND/day, and for a car is 30,000 VND. There are also many bus routes that stop right near the gate which is very convenient.($1=24,000 VND)
The weather in Hanoi has also started to become warmer, although it is still a bit murky, there is still enough light to capture beautiful pictures. In addition, you can invite your friends to organize a picnic right under the green trees, both free to live virtual and relax comfortably.
Instead of going to busy commercial centers, going to open places like parks to have fun is more and more popular with young people. It is these young people who bring many new perspectives, turning those familiar places into new fun and check-in coordinates.
A little ingenuity and with your own taste, you will have some “quality” moments there anyway. Or simply skim through these flower gardens to get hundreds of satisfactory photos.
No need to go far, Hanoi already has many such beautiful destinations. Beautiful warm days are coming, invite each other to the park to relax after a week of hard work and study, and check-in with friends will make your holidays more interesting.
