Old Brick Oven Coffee

About 7 km from the center of Hoi An ancient town is an old brick kiln abandoned for 20 years in Vinh Nam village, Duy Vinh commune, Duy Xuyen district. In the past few years, the brick kiln has become an attractive check-in point, and by the beginning of 2020, more and more young people are coming when there are more coffee shops facing the rice fields. From the brick kiln to the shop, there is a winding bamboo path running through the field. At the beginning of the year, when the rice is still green in February and March, the rice ripens in April, it is also the time when the weather in Hoi An is sunny and cool, convenient for spring travel.

This special location turns the shop into a relaxing weekend spot, watching the sunrise and sunset ideal for paparazzi. The shop is open from 4:30 to 22:00. The most suitable time to come here is at dawn, around 5am – 6am when the sun just rises, or 5pm – 6pm at sunset.

The owner of the shop expanded the coffee model into farmstay, doing both tourism and agriculture. Currently, the shop grows more rice and corn in an organic way to get raw materials for making wine and tea, selling agricultural products, and also organizes a campsite in the middle of the field and makes a bungalow for guests to stay overnight.
