To come to Da Lat, Tin must have a Covid-19 green card, make a medical declaration on the move and at the ward medical station where he lives, and take a quick test.

Da Lat is the choice of many Saigon tourists after the break with short trips on weekends. Diep Phuc Tin, born in 1992, also went to Dalat for 2 days on November 19 and 20. This is his first trip after the epidemic, traveling by bicycle from Saigon to Da Lat in 3 days, a distance of more than 300 km. “I’ve been waiting for this trip for so long,” Tin said eagerly. He said the city is in the beautiful wildflower season and the weather is cool, not too cold, very pleasant.

Before the epidemic, Tin often traveled by bicycle because of the concept that every journey was also a destination. He used to go to Dalat by bicycle a few times, the journey is still familiar but there are a few things that are different on this trip: he must have a Covid-19 green card, make a medical declaration during the move to Lam Dong, to The ward medical station where I stayed in Da Lat quickly tested negative for Covid-19.

“I feel secure for myself and the people I come into contact with when I have had enough vaccines and tested negative for Covid-19,” Tin shared his feelings when traveling during the Covid-19 era.

Da Lat in his eyes is now deserted and the shops are less than before, the familiar shops he often visits have not opened for sale yet. In return, he feels that everything in the city right now is very beautiful, Lam Vien square is clean and not crowded. Traveling on his own, he plans to limit eating at restaurants and places where many people gather, prepare cooking utensils, visit the market to buy vegetables, and then return home to cook.

In 2 days in Lam Dong, he spent most of his time cycling around, going on the Lien Khuong – Don Duong route, climbing D’ran pass to Da Lat, then cycling around the city, visiting the pink grass hill. Take pictures, cook for yourself, and then stay at a hotel in Ward 4.

Tin shared, if you plan to go to Da Lat at this time, you should learn information, regulations and comply with local epidemic prevention measures. It’s also a good idea to contact the property in advance to book directly, to make sure it’s still open and accepting. “After this trip, I will arrange a time to go to the Central region in the near future,” Mr. Tin said about the plan to move at the end of the year.

Similar to Tin, Tran Trung Hieu, born in 1991, has just returned from a 2 day and 1 night trip. This is his first tourist destination after months of social distancing because of Covid-19. “I usually go to Da Lat once a year and have inherent sympathy for the people, landscape and tourism services here,” Hieu said.

Hieu went to Da Lat by plane, moving to Lam Dong had requirements such as: negative result for Covid-19 (rapid test or PCR valid for 72 hours before departure); being vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine, the 2nd dose is at least 14 days away from the date of travel; medical declaration for domestic travel on PC-Covid app; When arriving in Da Lat, go to the medical station of the ward where you live to make a medical declaration.

More formalities than before, but after many months of social distancing, this trip was a pleasant experience for Hieu: “I often visit cafes with beautiful scenery to mingle with nature, which is what I look for. after nearly half a year of having to stay in a room. I also spend most of my time at homestay staying with light activities to reduce the risk of going to crowded places.”

During the vacation, Hieu had to get used to scanning QR codes for medical declarations when he went to any public places in Da Lat such as night markets, cafes and even when refueling his motorbike. He thinks traveling during Covid-19 will have certain apprehensions. To make the trip more comfortable, Hieu advises tourists to learn the information, regulations and comply with local epidemic prevention measures.

Hieu believes that although things are gradually returning and starting to get used to the new normal, there will still be a bit of hesitation in social communication issues, including travel. In the past few days, on social networking forums, pictures have been spread of Da Lat restaurants displaying signs restricting foreign visitors and the community wondering if there is a phenomenon of discrimination against tourists when coming to Da Lat. Hieu saw that it was just the way the restaurant expressed concern about local health, not discrimination as many people said.

“The people of Da Lat have always been hospitable, and when I travel, I don’t feel any discrimination. If there are some shops that don’t accept guests from outside the province, they are worried about their own health, but everyone wants to do business. business,” he shared. Follow vnexpress
