Within the framework of the World Travel Awards 2022 (WTA), the world’s largest tourism industry award ceremony, three hotels, and three amusement parks in Vietnam were honored.

The World Travel Awards 2022 (WTA) was born in 1993 and is held annually to honor the best service providers in the field of travel, tourism and destinations. The Wall Street Journal once likened WTA to the Oscars of the world travel industry. The fact that businesses and destinations are honored by WTA is of great significance to the tourism development of countries.

The Golden Bridge was honored in the category of “World’s Leading Iconic Tourist Bridge”.

Hoi An Impressionist Park located on Nguyen Tri Phuong Street, Hoi An City won the “World’s Leading Entertainment Destination” award.

In addition to hotels, and entertainment spots, many destinations were also honored in other important categories. In which, Vietnam is “World’s Leading Heritage Destination”, Tam Dao is “World’s Leading Town”, Moc Chau is “World’s Leading Regional Nature Destination”. Phu Quoc (pictured) was named in the category of “The world’s top natural attractive island”. Hanoi is “the world’s leading destination for short breaks”.

The promotion of destinations, resorts and entertainment in Vietnam in the international arena in recent years, especially after being affected by the epidemic, is considered a remarkable step forward. “Over the past decade, Vietnam’s tourism industry has had different developments compared to most regions in the world. Some creative ideas have been realized.
