The giant wind turbines put into operation turn Huong Hoa district into a new photo spot.

In early November, 19 wind power projects with a total capacity of more than 670 MW in Huong Hoa district came into operation, turning this district into a large wind power field.

Most of the wind power poles are at the top of the hills, plus the terrain of this district is in the highlands, so the wind power field becomes an ideal hunting spot for many people.

The wind power field quickly became an interesting photo spot for many young people. Recently, the couple Huu Hieu – Anh Sao chose an area with many wind power poles in Huong Tan commune to take wedding photos. Huu Hieu’s friend shared a surprising and new set of photos.

The “lonely” tree in the Rao Quan hydroelectricity reservoir has also become an attraction for young people with the background of mountains and dozens of whirling wind power poles. This location has been a favorite photography spot for a long time, the appearance of wind power pylons has created a new look for the scene.

In addition to checking in the wind power field, Huong Hoa district also has many revolutionary historical attractions such as Ta Con airport relic, Lao Bao prison… Pictured is a C130 transport plane of the US military at the airport. Ta Con airport ruins.

At the end of the year, Huong Hoa district also stands out with the yellow color of wild sunflowers. Wild sunflowers grow wild along Ho Chi Minh Road, the west branch from Khe Sanh town to Huong Phung commune, about 30 km long. However, flowers grow the most in Huong Phung commune.

Huong Hoa district is hoping that wind power fields along with natural and historical resources will help attract more tourists to come here. From Dong Ha City (the center of Quang Tri province), it takes visitors more than an hour along Highway 9 to reach this mountainous district.
