Song Village Church

The city center. Quy Nhon is about 10 km, the former church is home to one of the three first Vietnamese printing establishments, the Village Song printing house.

The printing house has not determined the construction time, was burned and rebuilt, operated until 1936, then moved to Quy Nhon. The new room was built on the old printing house, and today displays documents, originals, and copies of national language publications that were published at the Village Song printing house at that time.

The church was formed next to the printing house, becoming one of the first Catholic centers in our country. The current building was rebuilt in 1925-1927, previously only a leaf-walled cottage.

The nearly hundred-year-old church has a European Gothic architecture style, with a pointed arch and many windows. The 2,000-square-meter campus of the church owns a green space, with a couple of rows of about 130-year-old trees leading the entrance to the main building.

Quang Trung Museum

Located in Tay Son temple area Tam Kiet city. 42 km from Quy Nhon, in Kien My village, Binh Thanh commune, Tay Son district. The museum displays more than 11,000 artifacts related to Emperor Quang Trung – Nguyen Hue and the Tay Son uprising movement from the 18th century.

Three highlights to attract tourists here are Tay Son Tam Kiet shrine, ancient wells and heritage tamarind trees, all classified as National Monuments in 1979.

According to historians, the Tay Son shrine area is not unique in architecture, but in its historical and humanistic value. Legend has it that even though many people destroyed their houses and shrines many times, the local people still secretly rebuilt temples and communal houses on the old floor of the Tay Son brothers to commemorate their merits. Next to that is an ancient well made of laterite intact. Here, visitors often draw water from the well to drink or wash their face to feel the sacred aura.

In the garden, there is also a legacy tamarind tree over 200 years old planted by old man Ho Phi Phuc, who gave birth to three Tay Son brothers. Tam master tree has been attached to Tay Son’s life from birth until the uprising of the war founded the Tay Son dynasty …

Quang Trung Museum is open from 7 – 11:30 and 13:30 – 5 am, ticket price is 15,000 VND / ticket.
