1. Ham Lon Mountain
For families who like to have a picnic, Ham Lon mountain is not a strange place. From Hanoi, take the highway Thang Long – Noi Bai towards Vinh Phuc. Continue going straight until you see the sea of Viet Phu Thanh Chuong and Nui hamlet, then turn right and then go straight for another 7km, there is a right turn indicating the way to Viet Phu and go straight to Ham Lon.
Ham Lon Mountain has an altitude of 462m above sea level. At the foot of the mountain is a very large Nui Bau lake, with green pine forests and fresh air. Therefore, this place has become a popular spot for families to come here for a picnic.

2. Ba Vi National Park
Located 60km from Hanoi, this place is also considered an ideal picnic spot for families, especially those with small children. The camping sites here are quite diverse. First of all, the pine forest is located on a high hill with special features of the natural landscape. This place is not allowed to light a fire, so families remember to bring ready food, eat lightly… Secondly, Ba Vi ancient church is also the place where many people choose to organize barbecue and camping. 3. Dong Do Lake

Located in Soc Son district, 45km from Hanoi, visitors to visit Dong Do lake only take more than 1 hour by motorbike.

4. Tram Mountain
Located in Phung Chau commune, Chuong My district, about 30km from the center of Hanoi, Tram mountain is known as “Ha Giang plateau”. The reason this picnic place is so named is due to its wild and magnificent beauty. Visitors coming here will be overwhelmed by the soft, curving trails leading to the bumpy white cliffs on the top of the mountain.
