After 9 days of opening, on the evening of February 6 (the 6th of Tet), nearly 500 workers cleaned Nguyen Hue flower street. This year, the flower street is extended for 2 more days instead of closing on the 4th as planned to create conditions for more people to visit.
At the beginning of the flower street, near the fountain, the two tigers at the gate to celebrate the Lunar New Year are removed. A pair of tigers more than 3 m high, 7 m long, each made from 65 pieces of pvc foam pima, weighing more than 200 kg, were hoisted by workers on a truck and stored in Dam Sen tourist area.
New Year’s greetings are dismantled and put on a truck by the workers with the 2022 mascots.
In the middle of the flower road, a “lord of the jungle” 4.6 m high, more than 10 m long has an iron and steel frame that must be dismantled piece by piece instead of leaving it as is.
Many smaller tiger models of all shapes and sizes were also brought to the roadside gathering place waiting to be transported to the resort.
“This year, the mascot of the flower street is very rich, each model is eye-catching and has its own nuance, so most of them are kept and reused,” said Mr. Loc (orange shirt) while helping to remove the tiger from the landscape. .

Other miniatures made of iron and steel, large supporting frames… must be dismantled with a cutter or installed with scaffolding.
The fish in the lake were caught and released in Binh Quoi Tourist Area, Binh Thanh District.
The cleaning of Nguyen Hue flower street was carried out urgently in the night in order to pay the ground before the next morning.
