During 4 years of university, Thuy Trang lives with the viewpoint of “pursuing money”. In the second year, Trang has started working to pay for student’s life, shopping and sending money to her family.
As a student majoring in electronic journalism, Journalism and Propaganda Institute, Trang chooses jobs: art, creativity, content to earn income: “I do 4-5 different jobs at the same time. , working 24 hours continuously, not getting enough sleep because of running deadlines “, Trang recalls.
Working and earning a living early, Nguyen Thuy Trang told herself to save and cherish every dollar made. Trang’s student life revolves around work and study, going out or traveling with almost no opportunities.
Graduating from school with a bachelor’s degree, a girl born in 1995 awakened, feeling “wrong” with her own point of view. Having been working as a journalist for nearly 5 years, exposed to many stories and inspirational characters, Thuy Trang sits back and thinks about herself.

600 days searching for “exclusive memories”
To satisfy her passion for travel and create opportunities to challenge herself, Thuy Trang decided to go on a 600-day dust trip.
The journey started in March 2018, Trang visited 48 cities and provinces in Vietnam and 9 countries: China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia and Singapore.
Preparing for a trip across Vietnam, East Asia and Southeast Asia, Trang carefully planned and even studied for several months to minimize the risk. Thuy Trang booked flight 3 – 6 months in advance, choosing a cheap but safe accommodation.
In particular, the Hai Phong girl actively accumulates a little money to live for 2-3 months, in case of long-term unemployment. That money is saved separately and not used for any other purpose.
Online work, freelancers help Trang to have an income right in the process of “going dust”, and at the same time she spends reasonably, the arising fee is not too high compared to expected.
During the journey, Thuy Trang takes a lot of time to chat with native speakers, due to its poor foreign language.
However, Trang affirmed: “The language problem is not a barrier for me to make friends, after the trip I have more friends, we still contact regularly and they still come to Vietnam to see me again. . “
Making a 600-day trip, Trang has packed many memorable memories. From strangers to soulmates with “frequency” to a narrow escape from death.
“I remember the most when I lost my car in the middle of a storm on the way to Mui Dien, I had to walk a 10 km long way. People are exhausted, limbs exhausted, being a girl myself so I am really worried. Fortunately I am. saved by the local people, repaired the car and continued the journey. “

Having visited many countries, but Thailand is the country most loved by girls who love dust.
“Although I am fortunate to go to many more places later on, perhaps it is difficult to have a place where I have come back as many times as Thailand, 10 times in 2 years”, Trang admires.
