Dalat – Museum preserves more than 15,000 artifacts, vividly recreating nature, history and people in the city of flowers.
Lam Dong Museum is located in the hill area ” Winter Villa ” (ward 10, Da Lat city), 3ha wide, in the mansion of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hao built for his daughter, Queen Nam Phuong. This place is keeping more than 15,000 artifacts about nature, archeology, people and development history of the locality.
To imagine the city of flowers more than 100 years ago , visitors should come to the exhibition booth “Old and present Da Lat”. The church cabinet of a Vietnamese noble family in Da Lat in the 1930s and 1950s was collected by the museum, partly reflecting the context of living between tradition and modernity in Da Lat last century.
