Mr. Nguyen Van Binh (30 years old, from Phu Yen) said that the bus from Phu Yen entered the Mien Dong bus station at 2am and had to take advantage of it to take a nap until morning to catch the bus to the inn in Tan Binh industrial park. “Normally from Phu Yen to the Mien Dong bus station around 4-5am, but due to Tet, the bus station turns to go back to the countryside to pick up customers, so the bus is running very fast. , motorbike taxi is very expensive “- Mr. Binh said.

According to Mr. Ta Chuong Chin – Deputy Director of Mien Dong bus station, after the Tet holiday, the number of passenger vehicles in the Northern, Central and Central Highlands provinces return to the east station in the early morning, and the afternoon is quite deserted.

“The number of visitors this year returning to Ho Chi Minh City via the berth is much lower than the same period last year. Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, people hesitate to travel by bus. In addition, students in Ho Chi Minh City quit school until the end of February, so they have not returned to school “- Mr. Chin said.

Mr. Ta Chuong Chin said, in order to prevent COVID-19 epidemic, especially to monitor passengers from epidemic zones to Ho Chi Minh city after Tet holiday, the bus station coordinates with the Disease Control Center of Ho Chi Minh City, the Medical Center of Binh District. Thanh requires passengers from other provinces to return to Ho Chi Minh City to make a medical report.

For passengers coming from epidemic zones like Hai Duong, they will be assigned to perform screening and assign different forms of isolation or medical supervision for each individual based on their medical declaration.

At the same time, from February 16, at the Eastern bus station, coordinated with the Center for Disease Control in Ho Chi Minh City to conduct a screening test for passengers and drivers passing through epidemic areas with 100 samples / day.
