Plum blossoms only bloom for a short time and sporadically, so if you want the best photos of the Moc Chau plum season, hurry up and go. Below is a detailed schedule suggestion for a 2 day 1 night trip.

Move

The road from Hanoi to Moc Chau is not too difficult, suitable for first-time travelers. However, around this time, many sections of the road have dense fog. On National Highway 6, the road from Hoa Binh to Moc Chau is often foggy, especially the area from Thung Khe pass to Van Ho district. You should avoid moving in the early morning and late at night because at that time the fog is the most, the visibility is only 3 – 5m, very dangerous.

Depending on the road and means, travel time fluctuates around 4-5 hours.

You can ride a motorbike, a distance of about 200 km. If you do not have experience driving a mountain pass, you should take a bus, priced at 160,000 – 220,000 VND, then rent a motorbike by day to visit the spots.

Staying

There are many beautiful homestays, in harmony with nature such as Bo House, Nha Ta, The November, Hillside House, Mama’s House … The price of a dormitory is 100,000 VND per night, with private rooms priced from 450,000 – 900,000 VND.

Eating

You should try specialties such as veal, spring fish, vegetables, cat, rice … For dinner you can order hot pot or grilled at the homestay. The price of hot pot and baked goods is only about 150,000 VND per serving. Another option is the eateries or restaurants in the town center.

Schedule

Day 1: Hanoi – farm town – Ban Pa Phach – grassland.

If you travel by motorbike from morning, you will come to Moc Chau farm town at noon. You should always move to the homestay to check-in, store your food, have lunch and start the journey to explore. One of the must-visit destinations here is Pa Phach village.

Beautiful small Pa Phach village is located in the middle of the plateau, on National Highway 6, about 5 km from the town intersection. Here you can fully experience the pristine village, where there is no phone signal and wifi. However, the road to Pa Phach is quite difficult, crossing steep steep slopes, there is a large and jagged dirt road.

This season, Pa Phach has white cabbage flowers and plum blossoms. You should drive by yourself on a small road in the village to feel all the peaceful beauty, watch the white cabbage, the plum garden, the flowers of wild flowers and smell the slight scent of flowers.

In addition, in Pa Phach, there is a mountain called “The secret roof of Moc Chau”, where you can watch the sunset and fall beautifully. If you want to explore, remember to ask for directions because you cannot search with Google Map.

On the way from Pa Phach to the town, you will pass a lot of vast green grasslands, eye-catching. This is also the stopover for resting and taking check-in photos.

Day 2: Tea village – heart tea hill – Na Ka plum valley

In the morning, you can move to the tea garden , where there are vast and green tea fields. This is a destination not everyone knows, because when it comes to Moc Chau, people often go to the Heart Heart tea hill. Tea village is 2 km from the center of Moc Chau Farm Town, opposite Moc Chau tea company.

Unlike famous destinations such as Ban Ang pine forest, Dai Yem waterfall, love prayer …, visitors can visit the tea village for free. When leaving, you can visit the water shop next to the entrance to enjoy tea and buy products as gifts such as dried plums, oolong tea, hookah tea, cocoon nuts …

Na Ka valley is located on the road to Tan Lap commune, only about 6-7 km from Trai Tim tea hill and 16 km from Nong town. Na Ka is one of the most beautiful plum valleys of Moc Chau. The access road is also very easy to go, car or motorbike is all right.

T hung obscured Mu Valley plums are blooming white. But Mu Nui is located deep inside the forest. Access is difficult and cars cannot go. To get here you need to rent a motorbike taxi to be a local. The cost to Mu Ni is 120,000 VND for motorbike taxi and 20,000 VND for entrance to the garden (planted and cared for by local families).

The 2-day trip is not too time-consuming, you can choose only Na Ka plum valley. The ticket to the plum garden is 20,000 VND. Plum blossoms begin to bloom from the end of January to February, but this year the plum blooms early and irregularly, from mid-December the flowers have begun to bloom. In the blooming season, the Na Ka valley seems to be covered with a white coat, stretching out a large valley.

In addition to sightseeing and taking photos at plum gardens, remember to visit the shacks next to the garden to enjoy specialties such as oranges, tangerines, glutinous yogurt …

About 1 km from Na Ka plum valley is a very large orange and tangerine garden. You can stop by to take pictures and take it home. The ticket to the garden is 20,000 VND.
