From the late 19th century, the French chose Da Lat as the place to build a resort in Indochina at the request of the person who discovered this place – Dr. Alexander Yersin. They turn the structures bearing the silhouette of a small and peaceful French city built into solid works that first appeared in this place. Villas, arch windows, balconies with large glass doors, … are bold European but are also in harmony with the influence of the gentle rhythm of Dalat. 1. Dalat College of Education
Referring to the French architectural works in Dalat, the first reminder is that the school is famous throughout the country, is a familiar “virtual living” destination for people who are addicted to tourism when coming to this city. The school has a long history of establishment in 1927, located on a windswept pine hill. The orange-brown colors on the timed walls and the bell tower with the pencil-like roof create a highlight that anyone can recognize.

2. Dalat Railway Station
This is the oldest train station not only in Vietnam but also in Indochina. Dalat Railway Station has started construction from 1932 to 1936, then completed and put into use. This work by two French architects, Moncet and Revenron, together designed and directed to build with the features of the South of this country. The most special feature here is the 3 arches symbolizing the majestic Langbiang mountain range.

After many ups and downs, this train station is now a National-level Cultural and Historical Site. A famous tourist attraction of Da Lat city. People come here to admire the ancient scenery, check in with the old surviving steam locomotive. 3. Bao Dai Palace
Palace III or Bao Dai Palace is also often mentioned among the typical French architectural works in Dalat . This villa was built in 1933, located on Trieu Viet Vuong street near the city center. The works bearing European architecture often seen in the 20th century. 4. Domain De Marie Church

5. The Chicken Church
St. Nicole Bari Cathedral, also known by people with a familiar name is Da Lat Con Ga Church because the top of the bell tower has a rooster symbol. French architectural works in Da Lat have typical architectural designs of this country and are still preserved after many years. Very strong cubic shape combined with simple line patterns, decorative windows with diverse designs. All create the perfect composition, giving a mark that has been preserved over time.
