Long Son Pagoda in Nha Trang was built in 1886 by Venerable Thich Ngo Chi from Thanh Hoa, the abbot who participated in the anti-French movement, then left home to become a monk. The pagoda was originally named Dang Long Tu, located on the mountain until the year of the Rat (1900), where there was a big storm when the pagoda had to move to the foot of Trai Thuy mountain as it is today.

In 1936, Long Son Pagoda was selected to donate to Hoi An Nam Buddhist Studies, in 1940 the temple was restored and spacious. Long Son Pagoda is designed in an open space style with unique architectural lines, but the arrangement of Buddha statues is very dignified. The main hall with an area of 1670m2 worships Shakyamuni Buddha with large bronze Buddha statues, on both sides are reliefs of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and Bodhisattva Dai The Chi.
