Dong Van breakfast, Hoi An street food or duck blanket in Tra O lagoon is among the winners of the Pink Lady Food Photography award.
The prestigious international culinary photography competition Pink Lady Food Photography has been organized by the UK since 2011. In 2021, the contest attracted more than 10,500 photos from 70 countries around the world, the final results will be published online. on YouTube on April 28, including many works taken in Vietnam.
“Breakfast at the Fair Market” taken in Dong Van, Ha Giang by author Nguyen Huu Thong won the first prize in the category of Food at the Table (Food on the table). Nguyen Huu Thong (1987), a native of Viet Yen, Bac Giang, said the Dong Van rocky plateau attracts visitors from landscapes to cultural and culinary lifestyles. Upland people often go to the market to exchange goods, so get up early to go to the market and have breakfast.
Nguyen Huu Thong also has another work selected for exhibition in the final list is “Winter meal” of a family on the highlands Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang.
