Cinemas with ‘unique’ spaces in Vietnam

The Bamboo Cinema of Topas Ecolodge Resort (Lao Cai) is located on a small hill, with a view of the Hoang Lien Son range. Every evening, Vietnamese cinematic works will be recreated in the night sky of the Northwest. Among them are classic works such as Green Papaya Season, Top Gear – the Great Adventure Vietnam Special, Hanoi Baby or Desolate Valley .

The cinema also serves snacks such as popcorn with cheese shake, salt, and pepper popcorn, crispy rice paper. This month, the resort has a special program for students to stay at prices from 600,000 VND/night.

The cinema is designed by Avana Retreat resort in a green garden with cotton seats and seating mats. At 20:30 every night of the week, visitors can experience the service, amidst the close to nature, isolated space of Phang hamlet (Mai Chau, Hoa Binh).

Ha Long (Quang Ninh) recently launched Ha Long cinema – Drive in the car park, at the parking lot at the international passenger port. This is the first car cinema model in Vietnam with a capacity of 180 cars. The cinema is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night; in which 7th is a children’s film. The entrance ticket price is currently 50,000 VND / car.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay’s beach cinema (Ninh Hoa, Khanh Hoa) was once at the top of the most beautiful cinemas in the world according to The Venue Report. The cinema serves resort guests from 20:30. Here, visitors will enjoy the cool sea breeze, watch the stars and watch their favorite movie. Guests wishing to book a private movie show cost 150 USD for 2 people, including popcorn.

In 2018, Vinpearl Resort put into operation outdoor cinemas in Nha Trang branch (Khanh Hoa), Cua Hoi beach (Nghe An), Ha Tinh… The movie theater area is arranged in space. Large by the beach, with a 200-inch 4K screen, a 4K projector delivers sharp images. There is a food combo with prices from 80,000 VND/person for visitors to enjoy while watching movies. Cinemas average 3 times/week, showing different schedules in each resort.

Naman Retreat Resort has a poolside cinema, surrounded by green coconut groves. The cinema is open every Monday and Thursday, from 21 to 22:30, suitable for visitors who have just finished walking along the beach.

At Six Senses Con Dao (Ba Ria – Vung Tau), the cinema space is in the middle of the palm forest, at the end of the trail. There are soft upholstered chairs and flickering candlelight, helping guests relax and enjoy blockbuster movies. The cinema is open from 8 pm every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The cinema of Meliá Ho Tram (Vung Tau) is located on a green lawn, by a lake, in the distance is a view of the coast. There are movie screenings for children in the afternoons and family movies in the evenings.
