“The food I only need to see the picture once is remembered, then molded and painted clay. There are simple dishes such as coconut, it takes 15 minutes to finish but also food takes nearly a day to complete,” Dat shared.

Fish sauce spirit, the owner takes 16 hours to complete. Each fish is meticulously crafted in different shapes and by its true size. The most time-losing is the pouring of glue to give out the color of fish sauce and fish adhesion together.

To be more vivid, Mr. Dat had to buy the right kind of jars from the West or used to make fish sauce.

The grilled shrimp skewers are dynamic with life-like colors and sizes. Mr. Dat has tried many clays of Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, each with different reasoning to model.

Grilled copper snakehead fish must be prepared in a variety of colors such as gray, brown, black.. then on the fire to color as if just baked.

The fish ears are placed on banana leaves to increase the rusticity of Western cuisine.
