Dinh Thay Thim Binh Thuan is associated with a legend about a couple with the compound name Thay Thim. The husband’s name is Thay, the wife’s name is Thim. The two have made great contributions to helping the local people. Legend has it that, from the reign of King Gia Long, he was an industrious, industrious person who both studied and raised his will. However, he met at a great funeral when he lost both his parents at the same time, so he decided to stay in his hometown to mourn.
In the village, at that time, there was a drought, crop failure, and constant famine, so he set up a piano to pray to heaven. After the bridge was completed, the blue sky changed to heavy rain, making the trees seem to be revived. Since then, Thay is famous in the village as a good Taoist who uses magic to save the villagers.
On the first festival of the year, some people dream of having a big roof to worship Thanh Hoang. That night, it rained heavily, predicting a strange thing. Just like that, when the rain stopped, everyone saw a communal house located in the middle of the village, making everyone very happy.

That joy did not last long when Thay was arrested because someone in the next village accused the court of stealing and plotting to riot. Then they lived in Tam Tan (now Tan Tien Lagi commune). The couple rented a house. Every day I go to pick up medicine to treat people. When he came here, he also brought a dried gourd, which many people said was a miracle. In order to avoid the attention of people, Master Thim and his wife went deep into the forest to live. However, their reputation is still far away. He decided to build a boat to punish the wicked and save the people from the waves. Not only that, but he also collected wild animals to help people settle in peace.
When the couple died, the people of the village were very sad. Wild animals have built two white sand tombs near the place where the couple died. Since then, on the 5th day of the first lunar month, many people see a pair of Bach – Hac Ho coming to the grave. After the two tigers died, the villagers also buried them near the grave of Thay Thim and his wife.

Dinh Thay Thim Binh Thuan is surrounded by a square ladder wall with a circumference of nearly 600m. The citadel is carved with 3 entrances to the Palace, the main gate is built right in front, the two sides are two auxiliary gates. The palace is built from locally available materials with wood as the main raw material, adhesives mixed from tree resin, sand, lime and molasses, the floor is covered with Bat Trang bricks, and the roof is covered with yin and yang tiles.
