In the category of Best New Restaurant, HCMC has four representatives. The first name mentioned is Da Vittorio . The restaurant first opened in 1966 in Italy, received its first Michelin star in 1978 and expanded from Bergamo to St. Moritz, Shanghai. Currently, Da Vittorio has a branch in Ho Chi Minh City and specializes in serving Italian cuisine.

Å by TUNG is a restaurant specializing in serving high-class dishes, located in Tan Dinh ward, district 1. The restaurant impresses customers with its modern, bold and Scandinavian style. On the ceiling window of the dining room is the image of the Northern Lights, giving diners the feeling of being lost in the Nordic winter. The restaurant serves seasonal dishes.

Coming in at number three on the list is Compression Light , whose space is subtly lit, contrasting with the colorful neon signs of tattoo shops and street eateries located outside. The inside of the restaurant is equally elegant, according to the assessment of the American magazine. The restaurant’s chef Summer Le is famous for being “the witch who cooks Central Vietnamese dishes”.
