Quang Ha and Quynh Trang have been traveling for four seasons of ripe rice in the northern mountainous provinces since 2016, but in 2021 had to miss their appointment because of Covid-19.
Quang Ha and Quynh Trang both live in Hanoi, have different personalities when Ha is quiet, and Trang is “active”. However, both are passionate about traveling, especially in the highland autumn and they met by chance during a photoshoot of ripe rice in Y Ty, Lao Cai in 2016.
The couple took a commemorative photo on September 9, 2017, on the road to see ripe rice in Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang. Hoang Su Phi is the place where the rice ripens late in the country, usually, the time of ripening in the villages is not the same but scattered from mid-September to October.

Ha used to work as a telecommunications engineer but then quit to have more time with Trang to make trips across Vietnam. That was also Trang’s dream when she was young. In which, in September 2017, the two continued to go on a trip to the ripe rice season in Son La and Ha Giang.

The youth journey of the couple Ha and Trang is associated with the roads to seek experience, live to the fullest with passion. Through meeting “lightning love” since 2016 and after a trip in 2017, the two young people understand each other better and get married. In 2018, the couple welcomed a new member, the girl Hong Man, so this is also the year they missed the ripe rice season.
Continuing their passion for traveling, Ha and Trang also want their daughter to travel to Vietnam from a very young age. “From 2016 to 2020, when married and had a baby, the couple every year try to arrange a trip to the Northwest in the fall to see the terraced fields and feel the wonderful autumn atmosphere here. Although we have gone many times, every time we have the opportunity to continue, we are very excited,” Quang Ha shared.

In January 2020, Mu Cang Chai terraced fields were one of seven relics ranked as a special national monument by the Government.
