With the thought that our children and grandchildren are properly educated, the more difficult children must also be in contact with the letters, so the mother and daughter Le Thi Be (68 years old, District 4, HCMC) opened a class. Free to teach children.

Initially, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Thi (48 years old, from Binh Thuan, daughter-in-law of Ms. Be) went to advocate for families with difficult circumstances near their home with young children who have not been to school to teach her at home. From time to time, the good reputation spread, even children with underdevelopment have been sent by many families.

She used to study pedagogy in Phan Thiet, but due to her debt, Thi became Mrs. Be’s bride and temporarily stopped her teaching job. With her pedagogical knowledge and the support of her mother-in-law, Thi has become the main teacher of the compassion class for the past 6 years.

In the morning, Mrs. Be and her daughter-in-law work as tailors, take care of meals and activities for the children. In the evening when she rest her hands, Thi is in class, and Mrs. Be helps her to look after the children.

Every Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday afternoon, at 4:30 p.m., the free class is ready to pick up students, especially on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you need to ask questions, you can also drop by. Class.

Some children were brought to class by their family to study “Ms. Thi’s class” from 3 – 4 years old. When they were old enough, they went to school but often stopped by their family to ask her to give more lectures and consider this as their second home.

In addition to teaching children in difficult circumstances, Thi also tutors the older children so that they are more solid with knowledge, completely free of charge.

“I am very happy to be understood and supported by my mother-in-law, which is the driving force that helped me overcome my fear of teaching to the children. The difficulty is because the children have many different ages, the amount of knowledge today. There are many changes, so I have to learn in books and newspapers, sometimes even ask my children to teach correctly. Seeing the children eager to learn, I am happy, ” Thi Thi shared.

Mrs. Be confided: “I am old, only in grade 8, so I only teach the children simple words and numbers. My daughter-in-law is in the main class, I look after the children but I’m happy. Contribute a little old strength and children to sow letters for them grandchildren”.
