Lau Ong Hoang is an ancient relic located on Bai Nai hill 105m above sea level, in Phu Hai ward, about 7km from the center of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, and about 100m from Poshanu Cham tower to the south. .

It is known that this place was originally a villa built by Duke De Montpensier – grandson of King Louis Philippe I of France in 1911 on a land of 536 m2, with many facilities and considered as buildings. most modern Binh Thuan at that time. In July 1917, the duke sold the villa to Prasetts – the French owner of a hotel in Phan Thiet and then bought it again by King Bao Dai to use as a resort when he came here.
In particular, this building is also associated with the name of the poet Han Mac Tu, because this is the place where he and the female poet Mong Cam once dated, watched the moon and composed poetry, so even if people do not know Its address, not knowing who built it, its name still resonates and stays in everyone’s mind, typically as Han Mac Tu once wrote:
