How to go to Ha Giang god cliff?
Ma Pi Leng Pass is known as the pass located on National Highway 4C (Happiness Road). However, there is still a small section of Ma Pi Leng Pass (Ma Pi Leng B) that only motorbikes of backpackers can pass through, but cars will not be able to enter.

The cliff of Ha Giang god that we are talking about is located on this small section of Ma Pi Leng pass. However, the road for motorbikes to enter is only about 3km, then you have to walk about 2km more. However, you should also note that the motorbike road is not easy at all because the road area is very small, bumpy and zigzag. One side is a deep abyss, one side is a cliff, so if you feel you can’t ride a motorbike, then walk about 5km.

The starting point of this journey is the Happiness Road Museum. From here, you should park your motorbike and then walk, if you are brave enough to ride a motorbike, go straight for about 3km. On this road, there is a cliff of death. However, now visitors are not allowed to go here anymore to ensure safety. After that, drive down to the valley below, go a further distance to the top of Co Tien mountain. Just run slowly, you will see a small turn, this is where you can see the observatory overlooking the Ma Pi Leng pass. From this point you have to walk.

People here recount that, once in Meo Vac, there was a high mountain, covered with clouds all year round. This mountain can only look up, but cannot be climbed. At the top of this mountain there is a very beautiful and kind fairy. Normally, the fairy would sit and watch Nho Que River from the top of the mountain and sing passionately.
Thanks to her protection, local people have a peaceful and prosperous life, with favorable rain and wind, and good crops. To thank her, the Mong people named this mountain “Chua Lanh Bear”, which means Co Tien mountain. In the middle of the highest cliff on this mountain, there is a very high precious medicinal plant that can cure all kinds of diseases. Anyone who uses this medicinal plant will live to be 100 years old. However, because it is located on a high cliff, no one can pick it.

In the village, there is a young couple living happily together, but unfortunately the wife has an incurable disease, even though she has been treated in many places, her condition has not improved. Helpless, the husband decided to climb the cliff to pick medicine to save his wife. When he went, he brought hundreds of wooden stakes, driving and driving to climb the cliff and finally get medicine to cure his wife. Strangely, when returning from picking precious medicines, the wooden stakes also disappeared. Since then, no one has climbed the cliff to pick medicine anymore.
On the top of the mountain, there is also a pair of white cliffs, one side is the Husband Wall, the smaller one is called the Wife Wall. Local people consider the cliff a sacred place, on the occasion of the annual New Year, the Mong people often go to the foot of the cliff to worship.
