The Travel magazine has just selected 10 places in Asia that must be visited once in a lifetime, in which Ha Long Bay ranks second.

Asia is the most populous and largest continent on the planet, but it's also the most diverse, serving as a global melting pot for some of the oldest civilizations in the world.  Therefore, it is difficult to narrow down the options to access for a shortlist.  In fact, it can take months to fully explore just one country in Asia, let alone several in the region.  No matter what they're looking to see and do in Asia, travelers should be able to find something to suit their tastes.  Check out this list of the best places to visit in Asia that you must visit at least once in your life.
According to The Travel , Asia is a densely populated, culturally diverse continent and home to many of the world’s oldest civilizations. The magazine honors 10 must-visit places in a lifetime on this continent, after an effort to narrow down the options to find the most worthy ones.

Mount Fuji tops the list.  This is Japan's iconic volcano due to its near-perfect proportions.  Since 1708, the mountain has been dormant, although still active.  Fuji is also one of the three holy mountains of Japan.  Each of these mountains is said to have a power. Legend has it that a tigress is said to have carried Guru Rinpoche to this site 1,300 years ago when he was teaching Buddhism to the people of Bhutan.
