HA NOI – Visiting a thousand-year-old pagoda, visiting a flower valley, and picking strawberries on the rocky beach of the Red River is a recommended experience for visitors.

Tay Ho district has many places for tourists to visit such as amusement parks, monuments, landscapes … On weekends, if you do not have much time, you can spend half a day to experience the activities below.

Visit Van Nien pagoda

Van Nien Pagoda, built in the 11th century, is one of the oldest temples in Hanoi. The pagoda is located on Lac Long Quan Street, overlooking the West Lake. The architecture uses traditional wooden materials, with the familiar Vietnamese decorations Tu Linh and Tu Quy.

In the pagoda, there are 46 statues, including 26 Buddha statues, 20 Mother statues, and the ancestral statue. In the above statue system, some have art sculptures in the Le Trung Hung period (17th and 18th centuries), some belong to the Nguyen Dynasty.

Strawberry picking at the Red River rocky beach

Located in the Red River rock flower garden (Lane 264 Au Co, Tay Ho), this is the first mulberry garden planted in Hanoi. You can directly pick strawberries, weigh in the garden and buy them for 350,000 VND / kg. Also if you prefer to grow mulberry yourself, a seedling is sold for 35,000 VND.

All strawberries were transferred from the farm in Moc Chau. Strawberry beds are covered with tarpaulins to prevent fungi, bacteria that harm fruits and weeds. Weekends are the time when visitors come very crowded, visitors want to have beautiful photos with no people, so go on weekdays. To enter the strawberry garden, you buy a ticket to the Red River Rock Flower Garden for 50,000 VND per person and follow the instructions.

West Lake flower valley

Ho Tay flower valley is more than 5 hectares wide, located on Nhat Chieu Street, is a meeting place for tourists who love flowers and love photography. There are currently about 15 types of flowers such as chrysanthemum, chrysanthemum, butterfly petals, roses, lavender dahlia, … Visitors can rent costumes, organize parties, order food, children. has its own play area. Ticket price is 120,000 VND for adults, 80,000 VND for children and students.
