“A while ago, I visited a friend who worked at the forestry and agricultural institute and happened to see a book that recorded lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, kumquats, and kumquats in the same tree family. Thanks to that friend. advised on grafting trials to see how it turned out, and since 1992, I started having the first grafted tree products,” Mr. Duc explained the idea of ​​grafting two kumquat trees and celery.

“That day, I even sold the tree at exhibitions but received no attention, many people did not believe that those two trees could be grafted. Until recent years, the market began to emerge. The need to play with grafted trees, my products have reached many people. One friend even joked that I was ahead of my time,” Mr. Duc confided.

Mr. Duc selected the big-rooted, ancient-looking celery trees from the South to Hanoi at a price of 12-15 million VND for 1 embryonic root.
