On the sidelines of the meeting of the HCM City Party Committee on the morning of December 30, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City – said that the Prime Minister had approved the proposal of fireworks to celebrate the 2021 New Year of the city. HCM City.
“In addition to the 3 points previously approved by the Prime Minister, the proposal to add fireworks at the Hi-Tech Park to celebrate the establishment of Thu Duc City has also been approved”, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong informed.
Thus, on the occasion of New Year’s Day 2021, Ho Chi Minh City will fire fireworks at 4 points. The two high points are the area at the beginning of the tunnel crossing the Saigon River (District 2) and the Landmark 81 building, Central Park area (Ward 22, Binh Thanh District).
The other two low-lying points are the Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11) and High-Tech Park (District 9). The estimated shooting time is 15 minutes, from 0h-0h15 on January 1, 2021, funding sources for socialization.
