QUANG NAM – Not only has a diverse menu, Bonte is also a place to bring diners closer to nature.
Bonte is a small cafe about 2 km northwest of Hoi An old town center. The shop has a tree-lined exterior, but not too prominent, which can make you miss. But when entering, it is a new and impressive coffee space.
Bonte is rooted in the passion of the owner, the desire to create a connection place for coffee lovers and close to nature. The shop was completed and opened to welcome guests from the middle of this year and was recently introduced by America’s leading architectural magazine Archdaily thanks to its unique design.
According to architect Nguyen Hoang Son, the shop was born with the materials of sun and wind, concrete, iron and steel, natural wood combined with many trees. Bonte area inside is 70 m2 including 3 floors, outside area is 50 m2 including an open garden, surrounded by small leaves, betel nut, shrubs, vines. This green tree system both covers the sun, reduces heat for the building, and creates moisture and oxygen to keep the atmosphere of the restaurant fresh.
The dispensing counter is located on the ground floor with an open design, the first place where diners enter can directly see the coffee-making process as soon as they order.
The outdoor patio surrounding the ground floor is ideal for an early morning coffee or a late afternoon chat with friends. If high chairs are used in the house, the yard has more seats and mainly rustic chairs reminiscent of sidewalk shops.
The area on the 2nd floor connects to the ground floor thanks to the space and covered green balconies to create closeness and harmony. If you do not want to sit on a chair in the garden, you can choose the 2nd floor.
The 3rd floor is the quietest and has a large table and chair arrangement called “working space”, dedicated to those looking for a place to work, study in groups, read books…
Currently, the shop is open from 6:30 am to 10 pm daily, you can come directly to enjoy or order home delivery. The menu is quite diverse from Vietnamese coffee, Italian, cold brew, teas, to iced drinks, fruit juices and some cakes. Drink prices are pleasant with each dish ranging from 18,000 – 60,000 VND.
