HANOI – Nearly 2,000 tourists flocked to Huong Pagoda (My Duc district) for sightseeing, pagoda ceremony, morning 11/2.

At 5:00 a.m. on February 11, Huong Son National Tourist Area, My Duc District, began to open the door to sell boat tickets and scenic tickets for tourists to visit.

Earlier on January 25, My Duc District People’s Committee announced that the festival was temporarily suspended and visitors were not welcome at the Huong Pagoda due to the number of F0 cases in Hanoi leading the country. On February 8, the Hanoi People’s Committee agreed with the proposal of the My Duc District People’s Committee to open the door to welcome guests to the Huong Pagoda.

Thousands of boats have been launched. The entire boat was previously hung high, left in a dry place or upside down on the shore to avoid rusting after nearly a year of inactivity because of Covid-19.

The ticket price is kept the same at 130,000 VND/ticket (scenery, main route), 35,000 VND for the auxiliary route and 180,000 VND for cable car ticket/two-way.

“According to the plan, the Management Board will prepare from February 11 to February 16 to open the door. The preparation has been completed, the service conditions are sufficient, so this morning Huong Pagoda opened to welcome guests earlier than expected. Du Visitors do not have to waste time returning,” said Mr. Nguyen Ba Hien, Head of the Management Board of Huong Son Scenic Area.

The entrance to Thien Tru Pagoda is crowded with tourists, in contrast to the scene that closed last year. Shops in front of the temple were also removed to make the path clear.

On the first day of ticket sales, the number of people coming to the temple was not crowded, tourists leisurely worshiped without having to jostle.

The annual Huong Pagoda Festival is held on January 6. This is the festival with the longest scale and time held in the North, from the beginning of January to the end of the third lunar month.
