In May 2018, Hoang Thanh Tung (37 years old, Hanoi) and his wife started making check-in photos in many places around the world. “The idea came from a joke, I casually invited my wife to travel and take pictures to keep memories with the national dress. Wife agreed, so go”, he said.

As of February 2020, the two have traveled to 12 countries and took 28 sets of photos at the destinations. They want to do 100 sites around the world, expected to take about 10 years.

The couple named this set of photos as “Ao Dai 100 destinations”. Tung made a list of about 120 planned shooting points, depending on the situation each year will choose the appropriate point.
